What Clear Invisalign® Aligners Are
Invisalign are a new, modern form of traditional braces that requires no metal braces. You don't see many patients with them because they made of clear, strong medical grade plastic that is virtually invisible when worn. In jest, some dentists have referred to them as "contact lenses for teeth."
Using 3-D imaging technology, our Dentists, Dr. Bierman, Dr. Ma, or Dr. Summerhays will create a complete treatment plan for your Invisalign trays, including the initial position to the final desired position. Then, the dental laboratory will create a series of custom-made, clear aligners. You, the patient, will wear each aligner for about two weeks, during this time, your teeth are moving incrementally until the final position is achieved.
Clear, Removable, and Comfortable
Would you like to straighten your teeth without anyone knowing? And, would you like the ability to remove the trays so you may eat and drink what you want during treatment? Invisalign lets you do this, plus you can brush and floss normally maintaining good oral hygiene. With traditional metal braces, patients often complain of discomfort or pain during their monthly tightening. With Invisalign there is no monthly tightening or additional dental visits, saving you time and money.
The best part is, there is no guessing game, Invisalign® allows you to view your own virtual treatment plan before you start so you can see how your straight teeth will look when complete.
